[SOLVED] Help with source drive

Hi

I am using v5 , and launching the program as admin from a usb key, I am only able to see the C: drive, not my other computer s drive mapped as D, or any letter on the network.

Same thing with the command line: forcing source=D still points to the C drive.

It happens in the restore, and drive to drive menus.

Is there anything I can try to help with this issue?

Thank you!

Regards

Re: [SOLVED] Help with source drive

Hi,

The progrm is not designed to backup or transfer with mapped drives as source. It only handles local drives (PATA, SATA, USB, etc...) but not network drives in this cases.

At restore, network drives can be used but they are most of the time invisible from an admin session maybe for some kind of weird security reason.
That is why I prefer using unc paths instead of letters.

Hope this helps
