Restoring data

Bonjour-

I have a data set I backed up using version 6, and I'm having trouble restoring it with version 7 Pro. I don't know what it's looking for. A backup config file? Does version 6 make one?

Merci beaucoup!

Re: Restoring data

Hi,
Version 6 does not make this file. Here is how to tweak your V6 backup:
In this example case, this a 2 users backup (the profiles names are "FAB" and "TEST" and there are public items too) that has been stored to "E:\Test\2018-03-19"
Create a text file named "backup.conf" at this folder's root (where there are folders with the users names) and put the following information in it (adapt it with your backup information):

[FAB]
ArchivePath=FAB\archive

[TEST]
ArchivePath=TEST\archive

[PUBLIC]
ArchivePath=PUBLIC\archive

Save it with UTF-8 encoding (using the dropdown menu in the notepad's save as dialog).
Just make sure that your file's full name is "backup.conf" and not "backup.conf.txt" if the known file extensions are hidden in your explorer wink

This should work now!
