[SOLVED] Office documents not copied correctly.

I am not sure if I did something wrong with the program or not. When I restored my files to my new computer, I ran into an issue with Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents.  They didn't restore as a .docx, or .xlsx file. They restored as ms-image... files.  is that because I restored them before I reinstalled Office365, or did I do something wrong in the backup process?

Re: [SOLVED] Office documents not copied correctly.

The program copied files as they are without any modification, whatever are their extensions. I tried to google a little bit about those ms-image files but did not find anything relevant for this case. Is that the exact file extension you have (even with the known files extension setting enabled)?

Re: [SOLVED] Office documents not copied correctly.

There were other things after it, but the main extention was MS-image...  Its strange though, I looked at the files associated with the backup and they all had the correct extentions on them.  I deleted all the Office files from my new computer and restored from the backup again skipping any files that were already restored, and it worked fine.  This time they all successfully restored with the proper extensions and they work just fine. I don't know what I did the first time, but it worked this time.
