Can't start program or access store.fpnet.fr

Hi,

I purchased Fab's AutoBackup 7 Pro in November 2018. Haven't used it in awhile but need it today. I'm on version 7.0.8.476 and thought I should update first. I think that's done from inside the program? When I start the program and supply my Order Number and email address, I get "Not Responding" for a moment, then the popup "HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found."

On the web site, when I click Contact Us, it goes to https://store.fpnet.fr/contact_us.php?language=en and I get:

store.fpnet.fr is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

I assume these are related--the store is down so it can't authenticate starting the program?

Store is working again. I was able to log in to https://store.fpnet.fr/, find my order, download the current version 7.0.11.745, run the program, and this time it started with my credentials.

More problems.

I copied the 7.0.11.745 exe file to the customer's 2008 server and ran it to extract the program.

Then from the customer's Windows 10 computer on the same LAN, I ran the program and supplied my order number and email address.

It aid "(Not Responding)" for a couple minutes, then I get the popup message, "Connection Closed Gracefully."

I browsed to the extracted folder on the server and as domain admin, I did not have access until I clicked to override the restriction.

Back on the Win10 machine, this time I was able to start the program.

So apparently by default it was somehow extracted without write permissions even for the admin? Once it had write permission, it was able to save the logon info to the .ini file and start the program.

Wow, it looks like website had serious trouble this night (your messages were posted at 1 AM, my time). Sorry for that. I've checked it as soon as I woke up and it looks fine now.
About the permission problem. Perhaps that was some kink of Windows server protecting itself against a program from the internet. That's always better to start it from where it has full permissions or it will not be able to create is configuration file.
