[SOLVED] Access violation at address 006E0E59 in module

(Continued from the subject line: 'AutoBackup7Pro.exe'. Read of address 00000000.)

Hello,

I run Fab's AutoBackup 7 Pro on my devices from a network drive. I'm sorry I can't step out what happened before I got this error. I do know that my backup program won't back up the AutoBackup.ini file based on this error:

Failed to copy from Source : File is locked (S:\DAILY USE\2019\AutoBackup7Pro\AutoBackup.ini): The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

I have no other computers accessing the backup program.

Should I just reboot all computers and the external drive to unlock the .ini file or is there something else that should be done?

Chuck

If this is a Windows server that shares the file, you could know which user is locking it using fsmgmt.msc mmc console.
If it's a NAS, perhaps there is the same kind of tool. If not or you do not know where it is, then reboot your NAS and you should be fine.

Thank you very much for answering the same day: I saw your message and I really appreciate the quick response. The device was/is a NAS with Bitlocker on it. I rebooted the NAS and that didn't help. I rebooted the PC connected to it and it did. Thanks!

Perhaps you should upgrade to the last 6 version (6.13.4.31603)
You should be able to get it from your order's details on the store's website
