I copied a couple of machines over from Windows 7 to Windows 10 1903. The client was using an old Office 2007 license and didn't want to upgrade. (Stupid, yeah I know). Anyway email on Outlook 2007 seems to not want to index/search. A test copy on a clean machine without using Fabs seems to search just fine and appears in the indexing. I don't know if this is related to Fabs, but I just wanted to put it out there. My solution was to upgrade Outlook to 2010. There are free to use copies of Outlook 2010 out there from various Internet providers.

This not something fixable as Outlook profile is put back at restore/transfer and its content is not indexed while doing it. Perhaps Outlook does send information to Windows indexer when populating its own PST file and this is not done when restoring it using Fab's. Glad you found a fix for that using Outlook 2010.
