Hi Fabrice
I've seen this twice this week, can you shed any light on what it means and how to resolve it please?
Thanks in advance
Andy

Hi,
It sends such a prompt message if target file does not exist on network storage.
This can happen if network connection drops.

Thanks for the quick response, I'll reboot my NAS after it finishes the big backup it's doing. I'll back up to a local disk in the meantime.
Thanks again.

Oddly I mapped the network drive and it's working

Perhaps something with long paths ?
Using a mapped drive makes the path shorter.
It's not supposed to be a concern anymore but I need to try anyway with long files paths against with a UNC path as target. Just in case...

Ahh, perhaps, this customer does appear to have some really long paths.

Testing right now. Some source paths are longer than 300 chars. Target paths will be even longer.
Will report here if that's the issue or not.
Edit : test has just finished with no error. Longest target UNC path is 362 chars so that's not the problem at all.

Ok, weird, I have seen this twice this week with different computers, and on the latest one I removed the drive and connected it with a USB to another computer, and the error was just the same.
I never saw this error before last week.

It definitely sounds like a network issue IMHO

I have a huge (or more accurately, very slow) backup running that may take a day or two, but I'll reboot everything after that finishes and see what happens.
Thanks for your help

A day or two !!!
That's crazy! Poor condition source drive maybe ?
I hope you are not backing up to some USB thumb drive right? Those can be excessively slow.

Yes it's failing, I have it mounted through a rapidspar recovery device. Hopefully done by the end of the weekend
